highly personalized care and attention methods, such as hand trimming
and hand arrangement.
Optimum technology
Our Nairobi processing plant is designed to meet the latest European
Union standards and is capable of processing over 10,000 tonnes
of vegetables per year. The plant is equipped with state-of-the-art
processing equipment such as Frigoscandia IQF freezing equipment,
Cabinplant and Femia production lines, Angelus seamers, and Barriquand
'Steriflow' sterilizers.
However, while the utilisation of optimum processing technology
is imperative, we also employ over 1,000 processing workers in season,
so as to preserve the integrity and quality of our raw materials.
Individually tailored products
Due to the versatility of the Frigoken processing plant we produce
a wide range of canned, jar and frozen vegetables, all tailored
to meet the exacting standards and specifications of our clients.
Innovative presentation
We specialise in working with our customers, to create innovative
and imaginative presentation options, such as, exclusive rectangular
cans, gourmet jars, hand-arranged frozen consumer packs and frozen
'bundles' of individually tied, hand-arranged vegetables for single
portions.
